Location: Noida, India
Project Typology: Workspace
This Corporate Headquarter for a Computer Hardware Company is the culmination of a unique sense of identity & efficiency of function. Based in an industrial sector in Noida, the form rests on a corner plot & hence provides the building an enhanced physical presence in the context. The CIPL House engages a highly customized scheme of design that shatters the stereotypes of a mundane corporate building image.
The program primarily includes an operations unit, supply wing & basement storage facility. The interior layout of the built form was synthesized on the basis of a systematic building diagram. The G+4 structure spreads over of an area of 10,000 sq. & is an off-beat take on corporate design, rejuvenated with the charm of elements unique to the project.
The interiors witness the unison of minimalistic elegance & morphing proportions. The matrix of functions through the office include core workspaces, meeting rooms, a double-height reception area, private cabins & a cafeteria.
The South-Western façade is treated with an array of 6mm thick Indian Marble louvres fitted in MS frames to harness controlled sunlight. A diffused warm luminosity bathes the interior nooks with daylight that streams in through the Marble louvres. The built form in the evening is reminiscent of a glowing lantern with its illuminated interiors that shine through the transparent sections of the façade.
Rough Dholpur Sandstone, reflective dark Granite & sleek Indian Marble louvres create a palette of distinct materials that come together to create a façade composed of monochrome nuances & a strong visual character.
